I have owned this bag since 2009 and have used it a ton. From daily use as a bike messenger to travel and a grocery bag. It refuses to quit! I don't know how it is constructed so well, but it is flawless. Not a single stitch has torn. I would highly recommend this bag as it is a great choice compared to many other similar but much pricier bags.
Perfect for daily work use and also as a carry-on for airplanes. The variety of zippered pockets make organization easy.

Excellent bag; really well constructed with extra secure stitching/reinforcement where extra attention is needed. Easy to access pockets and lots of storage space. With all of this, the bag is comfortable and easy to wear. If this bag is like my last bag from the same company, it will last 20+ years.
I love this bag! I've had it for almost 4 years now and it looks the same as the day I bought it. You probably can't find a more durable bag for day-to-day use. It also holds a ton. They should consider renaming it the "Urban Mary Poppins" bag. Seriously, buy it.
I love this bag. I'm a bike commuter and this bag has room for my tools, lock and raingear when I need it with plenty of room to spare. Its simple, tough and gets the job done.
I love just about anything Manhattan Portage sells. All cool, stylish, and most importantly useful bags. My only complaint is where is the Orange color. I have this bag in black, but everything comes in dark colors. Spice things up. They have great colors, why not offer them for this bag?
I have been using Manhattan Portage bags for well over 10 years now. I challenge you to find a better everyday bag. These things are virtually indestructible. I switched to the New York Messenger Bag after using a Dana's Messenger.I found that I needed a bit more room, and this bag has TONS of it. I was amazed at how many groceries I could fit in this thing for my bike ride home. I highly recommend any Manhattan Portage bag.
I've had this bag for four years, have used it almost every single day, and it practically looks brand new. I carry my books and equipment back and forth from work. If I'm heading out of town, there is room for a laptop, change of clothes, a book or two and necessaries. Despite the ample amount of room inside it does not look or feel bulky when I am carrying it. In fact, after first pulling it out of the box, I was quite surprised the first time I opened it to see just exactly how much it could hold. I did quite a bit of research before purchasing and I couldn't be happier with the selection. Would definitely buy the same again if this one wouldn't last forever like it seems it will.

This bag is great. Been using it for a while, and it still looks new. Carries a hell lot of stuff. Though it would be good if there were a internal compartment divider for the main compartment. Also, whats missing is a bag stabiliser which is commonly found on most other messenger bags. Other than that, i reckon i can use this for years to come. It just feels that durable.
