Urban Bag

I bought this bag a year and a half ago for a 3 week trip to Europe. It worked perfectly. I never stopped using it when I got home! Now I am in Europe again and using this little bag is a no brainer. Fits everything I need for a day out. Including a water bottle, and I know everything is secure. A+++

I moved to NYC in 1995 and purchased this great bag, fast forward to 2026 and I still cherish this bag - it's traveled. The world with me.. throw it in the washer and hang out to dry and you're set. I was walking down the street when I saw a man sporting the type of bag that I have been looking for. I approached him and asked if I could take a picture of his bag so that I could order one from the company. He graciously obliged, and then told me that he loved his bag. He said that he had received it as a gift and had had it for many years, and would be heartbroken if he could not replace it if it ever needed replacing. I immediately did my research and ordered the bag from Manhattan Portage. Unfortunately, I made a mistake and ended up ordering a smaller version, but this was no problem since Manhattan Portage has incredible customer service. Yushuan Lin helped me to order the correct bag, and it was great working with her. She was so helpful and kind!

I absolutely love my Urban bag. It is well made, compact but roomy, and it looks great. My husband liked the smaller version so we ended up keeping that bag too. I know that this won't be my last purchase from Manhattan Portage. They're now my favorite place for great bags. I can't recommend them enough.

I'd like to have three zipper pockets. It is also good that the strap is thick and the shoulder does not hurt.

I would have been lost without this bag on vacation this past week! It's small but fits a surprising amount of stuff with organization. I got the East Village Bag for our 9 year-old for her upcoming school trips. Love these bags!

I purchased the Urban bag in NYC back in 2002 and this has been my daily companion ever since. This is hands down the best bag I have ever owned. Not too big, not too small, it is keeping all my essentials organized. Its side open pocket can hold a few pens and the front pocket gives me quick access while on the go. It doesn't hurt that the adjustable shoulder strap is quite comfy also. At last, the fabric this bag is made of is lightweight and almost indestructible. After all these years of heavy usage it does stand the test of time. I love my MP Bag !

I started off by purchasing the East Village bag... a junior version of this bag.

I am happy to say, I love them both!

In fact, I came back for this one as I can use it for traveling as the designs of the pockets are great for organization and it's a little bigger to add more things for travel.

Lots of pockets, very strong, a perfect size, you can put easily the iPad with a case and it's safe with his large and hard clip. I love it !

I love my Urban Bag! I bought it at least four years ago and I use it every day. It still looks almost like new. It holds everything I need to get through my days; pens, keys, cell phone, notebooks and other essentials. It's size isn't too big or too small it's just right!
